Pancreatic Pseudocyst Drainage
A pancreatic pseudocyst is a collection of fluid that forms after acute pancreatitis, the fluid is trapped within fibrous tissue. If left untreated, they may rupture. Surgical drainage may be an option for treatment.
Whipples Operation
This operation is done for a variety of malignant and benign diseases of the pancreas and nearby organs. It is commonly performed for cancer of the head of the pancreas, the ampulla, the distal common bile duct, and the duodenum.
